Antique 1800's WOOD CHEST hand painted pig skin leather brass 41" x 21" x 20. Up for sale I have this gorgeous large very cool and unique STORAGE TRUNK from the mid to late 1800's TRUNK has hand painted pig skin leather wrap and brass handles tacks and edge trim TRUNK is 41" wide by 20 3/4" deep by 20 tall and is in very good condition for its age!! Aged beautifully there is some damage to the pig skin in random places here and there along with a few tacks missing the inside of the wood box was patched at one time with a plaster like material??

I believe the inside is made with camphor wood since it has somewhat of a sweet smell there is a key latch mechanism on the bottom edge of trunk but the one on top is missing does not affect the way it closes I have included pictures of all sides so you can be sure to see the condition and all the great details this unique very old TRUNK has perfect size to use as a storage COFFEE TABLE!!
