This trunk is in beautiful antique condition with wonderful details. The most wear is found on the leather buckle straps, one straps which have become a little brittle where the buckles rested. Someone has taped the underside a long time ago to prevent further damage. There is wear to edges and corners and some overall scuffing. On the inside, for the most part, is in great condition, the elastic that hold the top compartment closed is stretched out a little and sometimes does not hold the top compartment closed when opening the entire lid.
