Trunk has two removable divided shelves, one in the bottom and one that sets into the top. It also comes with a metal shoe horn that was in it noting it belonged to Beryl Ellis of Brookline, MA and verbal provenance that she was an actress. This was her travel trunk because I see the Ellis name on one of the stickers. I have not been able to find any information as to her being a stage actress.
There are a lot of original stickers on this trunk, some railroad. The Trunk is lettered A. On both ends, I don't know what that refers to. The original Winship sticker still remains on the top. The top is basically flat with a very slight curve, would make a great coffee table or table still, good for end of bed storage too.
It is in what looks like very good solid condition, rolls on wheels and it sizes out at 36" length, 22" width and 25 1/2 in depth. This item is located in Salem, NH and must be picked up. Nice clean Victorian Trunk in what looks to be original condition. I took a lot of pics so look closely, there is some nice exterior detail. The item "Antique Victorian 1800s H.
