Of a high and durable quality. This particular box is an unusual size, being smaller than many of its type. It also has the rarer decorative brass handle. It features the decorative and utilitarian brass tacks and interior painted paper Burr was known for.The leather that apparently once covered the outside has been removed at some point. The brass tacks and leather strips under them are intact ; interior leather straps and hinges are intact but disconnected. Outside dimensions: 8" long, 5.25" wide, 4 tall.
