The leather strap holders are intact though one or more is cracking/ pulling apart. The monogrammed canvas is missing on a large area to both sides and with other smaller areas here and there.

The interior is a red and cream cotton like broadcloth and a cream color under lid; all are stained with some worn areas and the inside box is missing. The serial number is very light next to the label and appears to end with an 8. The clasp is in an upright position and we did not attempt to force it into place. Please note what looks like paint possibly on the top.

Some torn travel labels exist on one side, the other is marked A. FRENCH and their appears to be a marker written address with the last line possibly "Louisville". Measuring appx 39.5"w x 21.75"t x 23.5d. We lightly swept the cobwebs and farm dirt off with a handheld soft bristle brush, and used a wet washcloth to gently swipe off some of the exterior farm dirt and dust to get a glimpse of what lied underneath.
