Vanderman Antique Patent July 1897 Iron, metal and Wooden Flat top Railroad Steamer Trunk Chest Heavy Duty Lock tool Box. Good solid heavy duty condition, Made of thick iron and everything appears to be made put together with old time rivets. Made to keep humans out!

This is the box valuables would have been stored in during train travel. Someone has cut the latch, see pics.

Dings and dents, scuffs and scratches, paint loss, broke wood pieces. Very strong sturdy tool chest that would make a excellent coffee table. May need some paint restoration.
