Vintage 1897 Vanderman Railroad Strongbox Wood Chest Trunk. Structurally this is in good condition, the hinges, the locking hinge, the handles are all good. The lid fits nice and there are no major flaws. It does show its age with expected wear. It was painted, including the name plate but the name plate is also in good shape.
