This antique trunk traveled, and shows this with cracks in the wood, loss in all of the wood border edge pieces, and loss of paint throughout, and it may have been repainted one or more times. The lock appears to have been replaced.

This trunk is difficult to open. One of the hinges is a bit loose. This antique trunk would make a great piece of accent furniture such as a coffee table. The pictures are enlarged to view the details.
