I couldn't find any maker's mark except for the lock. Solid condition - great candidate for restoration or a quick polish and transformation into a coffee table! Evidence of previous repairs - look over all photos - you will see some mix-matched nails, a few chips and dings, latches and hinges have been re-secured with long nails which were bent over into the main compartment (this looks to be the most modern repair attempts - ugly but functional and only really noticed from inside the trunk).

The removable tray is getting dry, no guarantee on lifespan of the cloth hinged top - I did NOT snap the snaps... Old dry leather will need restoration and snapping the snaps may be the final pressure to damage them. Seems to be a combination of wood slats, fiber board, some brass hardware, tin covering on bottom, and fabric lined interior.

NO MODERN RESTORATION DONE - comes complete with interior funk & drying fabric coverings.
